Negri R225 Woodchipper

The Bio-Shredder R225 is a very compact professional machine with a new multiple cutting system composed of a special rotor with 8 mobile hardened steel hammers, 2 fixed steel blades placed on the edge of the rotor and 2 buckets inside the rotor for ejecting the minced material. This new cutting system allows to introduce in the hopper material of large and small dimensions, with no need to tear apart small branches from the main branch, assuring a very high output per hour. The direct ejection of the shredded material through the rotor without the use of an additional fan and related transmission system reduces noise level and makes maintenance operations faster.

Inside the hopper there is a hydraulic feeding roller with adjustable speed. It carries every kind of vegetable waste (both hard and fibrous, like for example palms, pines, linden tree, etc...) to the cutting group, up to max 8/9 cm of diameter. The material is discharged through a 1,5 m. high and 270° turning pipe, which is adjustable in height and distance. R225 can be equipped with Honda GX 390 or Honda IGX 440 gasoline engines, EH 41 Robin engine, with HP10 380V electric motor or it is available in the version for tractor with 3 points connection and with a power of at least 14,7 Kw/HP15. The machines with HONDA IGX 440 engine are equipped with a special automatic self controlling No-stress system patented by Negri Srl.

R225 is a compact and powerful machine, easy to use and to move thanks to the perfect balance and the use of large size pneumatic wheels.

R225 with engine is also available in the EVO version, which differs from the standard version because it can be set with agricultural carriage or with 80 km/h homologated trailer for road transport with driving licence type B. Moreover EVO version has a larger feeding hopper and the ejection pipe is higher: 1,65 m.

The compact dimensions, the lifting hooks and the great handling permit to easily load the machines on little trucks or also onto vans.

All versions are manufactured according to the safety systems in compliance with the current European standard.
