Negri R270 Woodchipper

The new bio-shredder R270 has a weatherproof and soundproof bonnet. Access for maintenance is via two side doors and detachable panels.

The latest Ergonomics, in compliance with the European Safety Standards, has resulted substantially large hopper, positioned at the optimal height for an easy loading of waste material.

The roller feed inside the hopper, is controlled by an external handle, the latest technology which protects the engine in case of overload. The shredding system, composed of two cutting blades and 24 mobile reversible hammers, pulverises green waste up to a diameter of 100 mm. The shredded material is discharged through a 270° rotating chute at 2,15 m. high, an adjustable screen with vertical bars determines the final composition.

The machine is available in three versions, powered by a Honda 20hp petrol engine, a 26.5hp Lombardini diesel engine or a 26.5hp Kubota diesel engine. In all three versions the transmission system is composed of a centrifugal clutch to idle the engine and of three trapezoidal belts which transmit the motion from engine to rotor.

R270 is equipped with agricultural trailer chassis or with 80 km /h homologated road trailer.
